Jintur (Correspondent), Sept. 19: Students of Dr. Subhashchandra Rathi Balak Vidyamandir and Jijamata Vidyalaya, Jintur, have brought laurels to the school by securing top positions in the taluka-level school sports competitions and earning selection for the district-level championships.
The taluka-level chess competition, organised by the Taluka Sports Officer’s Office on Saturday, September 19, at the Taluka Sports Complex, witnessed participation from school students in the Under-17 category. Kalyani Vijay Gite and Shivam Dattatray Ghuge secured first place in chess and were selected for the district-level championship.
In the carrom competition, Samruddhi Gorakhnath Aghav and Alfiya Shaikh Khadir were selected to represent the taluka at the district-level championship.
In the chess competition, Maharudra Mundhe, Dhananjay Kale and Gajanan Sapkal secured second positions, while Gajanan Sapkal and Akhilesh Pimpalkar secured second place in carrom.
The successful students were congratulated by institution president Brijgopalji Toshniwal, secretary Ramanbhau Toshniwal, directors Sachinbhau Toshniwal and Pankajbhau Toshniwal, director Padmatai Toshniwal, primary school headmaster Gajanan Tikhe and secondary school headmaster Manohar Kadam.
The students received guidance from Vinayak Ghuge, Dnyandeo Kudale and Dnyandeo Mundhe.
