Jintur (Correspondent), Sept. 5: In a remarkable display of enthusiasm, courage and teamwork, the eighth-grade girls of Dr. Subhashchandra Rathi Balak Vidyamandir and Jijamata Vidyalaya astonished everyone by successfully breaking the Dahi Handi during the Janmashtami celebrations held at the school.
The Dahi Handi programme was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The event commenced with the ceremonial worship of Lord Krishna and the formal inauguration of the competition.
Headmaster M. P. Kadam, senior teacher Vinod Pachpile and Sanjay Sable were present on the occasion. Students from Classes VI to IX enthusiastically participated in the competition. However, the spirited performance of the eighth-grade girls emerged as the highlight of the celebration, leaving the audience pleasantly surprised and highly impressed.
Teachers and non-teaching staff worked diligently to ensure the successful organisation of the programme.
