Jintur (Correspondent), Sept. 1: With the increasing consumption of fast food leading to various health problems, students should include more vegetables in their daily diet to lead a healthy life, appealed Cluster Head Sushil Waghmode.
He was addressing students during Nutrition Week organized at Dr. Subhashchandra Rathi Balak Vidyamandir and Jijamata Vidyalaya. Headmaster M.P. Kadam and Sushil Waghmode were present on the dais.
Waghmode emphasized that proper nutrition is essential for maintaining both physical and mental health. Headmaster Kadam highlighted the importance of locally available vegetables and wild vegetables, including nutritious drumstick leaves.
Students brought different vegetables to the programme and explained their nutritional importance to fellow students and guests. The programme was anchored by Mrs. Baswashree Swami, while Vijay Gite proposed the vote of thanks. Teachers and non-teaching staff contributed to the successful organization of the event.
